(The picture is me and my nieces) Let's see, I used to be a teacher, but I always wanted to be a carpenter so I made the switch. I'm also Dj and I volunteer with a number of organizations, political, environmental and social. I love the outdoors and spend a good deal of time outside. I love to hike and mountain bike. I like to stay active, I can enjoy dinner in and a movie, but if your idea of fun is feet up and tv on, I'm probably not your lad. I don't own a tv (though I do follow a few series' online) I've travelled extensively, right now I'm planning a rafting trip to the Rockies, a weekend in NY with family, and some time down south in a location yet to be determined. I'm a big fan of novelty, I love trying something new, stepping out of my comfort zone. I'd like to find someone interested in travelling the four corners of the globe. I dj some weekends, mostly wedding and such, but maybe moving into promoted events and such. My Ipod an eclectic mix from house and dance to jazz, blues, punk and celtic. I have an extensive library and love to read... I don't know, I can tell you a story or two, but this listing of traits isn't my strong suit.
I will admit to smoking grass now and again (maybe a dozen times a year)

Honestly, first date is coffee or a drink somewhere. Not exciting I know, but it gives us a chance to talk, see if there's any chemistry, get a feel for each other and escape without any hurt feeling if things aren't working out. A second date, might be a play, the farmer's market, a show, a hike, sky's the limit ;)
