About Me
I love great soul-searching literature, great soul-shattering movies, great mind-enriching TV, great social treatises. (I checked to make sure that all my interests are adorned with "great." See, when you are dealing with greatness, you can't be too careful.)
Sounds boring, right? Well, don't be concerned. I won't be boring you with all my great thinking. Not all the time. Just be prepared to be annoyed by my constant jokes. Don't fret that those jokes may be too highbrow--I'll make sure that they are as corny as the farm fields of Iowa.
I love the great outdoors, water sports, strolling on the beach at dawn or sunset, walking in woods. Oops, I just moved to Metro-Atlanta, can anyone show me a beach somewhere please.
I aspire to leave my thoughts behind and take your heart with me.
I am a gourmet cook and love to entertain. I learned professional massage but has never charged a penny for it. Feeling the pulsating pleasure rippling through the flesh under my fingers is reward enough for me.
I love great (How could I have ignored that word for such a long time?) classical, jazz, and some country music. Only once, standing at the door of a French Quarter joint (in the French Quarter of all places!), I felt the over-powering beat of Rock n Roll. But it was all so fleeting. Come on, ladies, cut me some slack here, I did not grow up with this stuff. I tried but since it came on so strong all of a sudden it's hard for it to grow on you.
Having been transplanted several times through wildly divergent cultural soils, I found my soul growing increasingly brittle. I can cry my heart out over, would you believe it? cartoons!
Oh, one more thing, my separation is emotional as well as geographical, which is about as far as you can get with us being half the world apart. Norcross is my temporary place; I am new in town and am looking for a house in Greater Atlanta. I don't have any friends or social life right now.
First Date
Dating without an evening dress, a black tie and a tuxedo? That's blasphemy. After all, isn't that what people do at their first date, hiding all their warts? No? Oh, you want to find out more about your date! Then a place that's more fun and casual, maybe?
