I love the outdoors. We live in a place that is beautiful 12 months a year, whether it's enjoyed hiking or snowshoeing. When indoors, I enjoy cooking together, movies in and out, visiting bookstores, or sharing conversation over coffee and cocoa.
I am a very optimistic person. I live an active and busy life. I'm a teacher and dedicated mom to a my wonderful young son. He brings me great joy. We live in a beautiful part of the country and it's a paradise for a hiker. I've been told I have a great sense of humor. I love the unexpected, and although I just turned 41 , don't look or act my age (what does that mean anyway??). I believe life is meant to live and I'd love to find a friend to hang out with and have fun. I can easily spend my time meandering around a bookstore, hiking the gorge, or enjoying a cozy night with a movie by a fire. I'm a low key, easy going person who enjoys people most who enjoy life, sometimes without a plan. That means, sometimes it's fun to go downtown, park the car and wander with no real destination in mind. The most fun can be found in the most unexpected ways.

Yes, my profile indicates I am separated, but the process is happening and yes, I am emotionally available to explore a new friendship. Both taking things slow and feeling a connection are very important to me.
