By that, I mean I like that song "Barracuda" by Heart; that guitar riff is unbelievable. Whether I am or not, I'll let you judge...

Anywho, about me. They say talk about your hobbies. Well, I have them listed, so saying them twice would be kinda pointless, don't you think?

My goals and aspirations: Once I dreamed of being the first person in the world to walk on the moon; then I learned about Neil Armstrong and that dream pretty much went out the window. I'm actually an adjunct professor of English, and I hope to have my Ph.D. and become a full professor of English. I also hope to become a published author, and am constantly working on multiple writing projects.

Myself and what makes me unique: Well, I say "no worries" and "right on" a lot, but I don't think I'm the only one in the world who does. I know the difference between "their," "they're" and "there," and can spot grammatical/spelling errors on signs. I'm an adrenaline junkie; fitness and hiking are huge parts of my life. People tell me I'm real "laid-back." Yeah, those are some of the quirks I can think of right now. If you spot any others, feel free to let me know. My taste in music: I like everything except for opera and that techno/dancey garbage. That song "All the Single Ladies" has that fingernails-on-blackboard effect on me (hmmm, I'm thinking I just scared away about 75% of the female population on here).

Don't worry; I won't make you jump out of a plane, unless you really, really, really want to go. Since I'm sure that's not going to happen, I guess we can settle for something simple, like conversation over coffee. Or candlelit dinner followed by marriage proposal. Whatever.
