I'm looking for a friend that can grow into more. I like to attend movies, concerts, theater, comedy clubs, festivals of all kinds. I like browsing through antique stores. I listen to all kinds of music (country, rock, pop, jazz, soul, cajun) but my favorite is Jimmy Buffett. I enjoy reading (fiction, mostly thrillers and sci-fi/fantasy). I love animals (most of them anyway) and have 2 dogs.

Family is important to me. My daughter and 9 year old granddaughter live with me, and my other daughter and I are San Jose Sharks season ticket holders and love going to all the games together.

I am affectionate and love to cuddle and talk with that special person that I find. I like holding hands while we walk around and look at the sights. I'm looking forward to finding someone that enjoys similar activities and weekend getaways to the coast or mountains.

I'm quick-witted with a sometimes sarcastic edge. I like to laugh.

What can we do on our first date? Not the movies, what's the point of sitting in the dark and not talking? How about a casual dinner, a couple of drinks and then either a comedy show or some music?
