I'm currently a PhD student in chemistry, who enjoys learning anything science-y.

As for music, I genuinely do like all kinds of music, minus most rap. I tend not to watch many movies, but will generally enjoy watching most kinds with friends. Same with TV.

I tend to be introverted and quiet; however sometimes if you get me going, I won't shut up.

Hobbies of mine tend to be on the geeky side, including juggling, but I can be open-minded to new ones. Grad school tends to keep me busy, though. I have a long list of hobbies that have fallen by the wayside, unfortunately.

Don't let the juggling thing scare you too much - it's probably not as nerdy as you think. I used to perform, but sadly that has mostly ended, too.

I like teaching (as a TA), although I don't consider myself very good at it. My students tend to like me, so that's a plus.

I generally like first dates to be pretty laid back. Anything like taking a walk & talking or just hanging out would be great.
