I am interested in someone who has a great sense of humor, good communication and listening skills, and is physically fit.
I have two Australian Shepards as part of my family. They are the kids I never had...furry, 2 year olds forever. They put a smile on my face everyday and remind me to be present in this life and appreciate every moment (no whining...unless of course, supper is past due!)
In warm, dry weather you'll find me running with Murray(my aussie), hiking Tahoe, or cyclng the American River Trail. During winter, an occasional ski trip, epecially the last week of December is good therapy. Snowshoeing with dogs is entertaining and just good clean fun.
Dancing has become a major passion - recently. I focus on West Coast Swing, but also enjoy Country 2-step, Tango, Salsa, Hustle, East Coast Swing, and Cha-Cha. I love that it exercises the mind, body and spirit! A great way to express yourself!
I'm currently reading 2 books, very slowly (the dancing poops me out and I can only read a page or two before zzzz)...and they are: A Thousand Spendid Suns, by Khaled Hosseinei (Kite Runner/author), The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan. If I ever finish these books, Three Cups of Tea by Mortensen/Relin is next.
I think it's important to give back to this world, even in small ways, volunteering a few hours of time a week or month to help someone less fortunate is a healthy way to live.
Another thing, I've been told I have a pretty good sense of humor and in some small circles, a comedienne. When you're laughing, it's hard to be angry, depressed and sad!
Well, of course, there is more...if I've piqued your interest, let me know...and either way have fun fishing and good luck!

Something simple...a beverage and a relatively quiet place to talk and see if there is mutual spark of interest.
