I like most music except rap. Not real fond of huge dogs and motorcycles and I suck at fast dancing(do like to slow dance however). I like poking around at rummage sales and auctions. I do research on genealogy. I return orphan cabinet photos and documents to descendants and translate old German documents. I don't mow down wildflowers in my yard if they choose to grow there. I love any outside woodsie thing to do. I have been divorced for ten years and have three grown children I am proud of. Looking for a companion for activities and more if it is meant to be. Verse I wrote below. Feel free to look at POF's Forum on poetry to read my poems(search under "pretty words"). They say a lot about how I have felt at times in the past. My favorite tv shows are Medium, House, The Big Bang Theory, and NCIS. I like to eat out but can survive on my cooking and I am housebroken. ;o)

How will I remember you?

If fall comes quiet as it often does, would your voice be the passing words of dying leaves upon the woodland floor?

When winter is long and lingers longer would your sigh be the soft warm breath that fogs winter’s window pane?

And when spring first comes and thunder rolls till the windows shake would your scent be the scent of rain through a screen door?

And of the summer night. Would I see in your eyes the thousand stars above or the one that falls and is gone in an instant?...............The one I will remember?
