I am in the process of moving back to Aylesbury after a short stint in the North of England for a new job that didn't work out as planned.

I am quite shy to start with but open up when I get to know you and some would say my sense of humour varies from dry to sarcastic and sometimes silly :-) I am fairly quiet until I feel comfortable with someone but am always honest and caring and a good listener if you need one? If you are looking for tall dark and handsome then I would suggest you look elsewhere but if you want someone caring and honest to spend time with then drop me a line and ask anything more you want to know.

A LITTLE PIECE OF SUNSHINE

Walking alone along a quiet river pathway,
Letting the coolness of the air brush against my face,
Sending a tingle of anticipation across my skin,
I begin to wonder if I’m waiting in the right place.

From behind I hear a sound, so soft it’s almost silent,
As she walks towards me through a field filled with flowers,
The wind carrying her scent amongst the subtleness of their fragrance,
As the moments pass by they seem to last for hours.

Taking her by the hand I walk slowly in silence,
Watching the wind gently blowing through golden strands of hair,
Cherishing the time that we spend together,
Listening to her soft voice as the words drift through the air.

Her eyes shine with a light I have never seen before,
That touches the depths of my spirit reaching deep into my heart,
Revealing a special part of me I have always kept hidden,
Something I now wish to share so that we will never be apart.

As time begins to drift like the clouds across the sky,
We sit for a while beneath the branches of an old tree,
Lost in the warmth and the tenderness of our embrace,
My heart reaching out with a single question “Will you stay with me?”

Fingertips filled with a soft tenderness brush against her cheek,
Wiping away a single tear with a gentleness born out of love,
Holding it before me like the most precious jewel in the world,
As it shimmers with a golden light reflected from above.

As I look into her eyes I feel a growing compassion,
My mind now comprehends what my heart has always known,
She is the one, for which I have always been searching,
Together, forever, we will never again be alone.
