I warn you now. This is gonna be long.

So I guess a good place to start is a bit about myself. Just moved back to toronto after a long year in Vancouver. I went there to pursue my dream career and I'm hoping to continue it here :)

I'll be honest. I'm really career and work driven. I respect those who work hard and are passionate. I am a firm believer in honesty and open communication in any type of relationship (professional or personal). I'm firecely loyal and would like to think that I have a very strong moral compass. I also believe balance is the foundation of a satisfying life. So although I may sound like some crazy workoholic, I do know how to kick back, relax and enjoy life. :)

I'll admit I'm a bit of a nerd. I can't dance for my life, which is why I don't enjoy clubs all too much. I much rather be in a bar/pub or house party where I can talk to people and get to know them. And although I may seem a bit reserved at times, I'm usually all for trying most things at least once. Can't promise about a second time :P

What am I looking for? I don't care for one night stands or flings or whatever. I just don't think I'm cut out for them. I'm realistic so I don't expect every girl I go out on a date with will continue into a long term relationship. I'm pretty open-minded about most things. I enjoy intellectually stimulating conversations. Feelings and emotions are complicated things and if we click, we click. And even if we don't, that's not the end of the world. It's just as rewarding that we've met each other and hopefully will stay friends.

Although I've listed myself as looking for "dating", ultimately, I'm looking for someone to compliment my life and hopefully fall head over heels for and spend the rest of my life with. I'm a bit of a hopeless romantic at heart and although I've been heartbroken manyatimes in the past, I still believe there's someone out there for me. I want to be the person you turn to everytime something awesome and exciting happens in your life, as much as being the person to give you a shoulder to cry on.

On the lighter side of things, I love cooking. I specialize in desserts because they just look and taste oh so good (and goes right to your gut too, and who doesn't love that right?) :) I played the piano for many years and would love to start up again. Coffee, bacon, corn, and apples are my favourite foods (random I know). I've been itching to go rock climbing lately for some reason. And I LOVE amusement parks.

Obviously that's not all of me. It'd be impossible to describe anyone on a single page. I guess you just have to find out the rest of the boring stuff about me yourself ;)

Movie dates are okay but I'd prefer something where we can talk and get to know each other.

Coffee or lunch/dinner is great :) I love coffee! :D
Maybe... coffee while taking a walk on the beach!

Ooo ooo! I would love to go rock climbing again. I haven't done that in a while.
