I'm relatively new to DC, just moved here this summer from NYC. I work in finance, so too not much free time during the week. On the weekends I enjoy being outside, either playing golf, grilling, going to any sort outdoor festival or event, etc. I've learned that there is always some event going on in DC, so I've really enjoyed getting out and seeing what the city has to offer. I'm really laid back, but I would not mistake that with apathy. Hopefully this is a good way to meet some new people in DC.

I don't really like the cliche dinner/movie date. I'd prefer something a little more active, maybe visiting a museum or going to some sort of weekend event. Something that can be fun with anyone and doesn't feel like a job interview.
