I am a loyal and dependable friend and I would also say that I am an all round decent person with values. I have strong beliefs but I understand not everyone will agree or share the same views. I can be serious but I know how to have a good time. I have a sense of humor and it can be a bit twisted. I am a cynic but not to the point of annoyance.

My hobbies include playing sports. I play in a few coed leagues. It is super serious and it is my last chance at sports glory. Besides the competition I like to play since it allows me the opportunity to experience painful injuries. Hopefully I will not suffer any more busted ankles.

I also started training for masters track and field. I like the challenge and it is a good motivator to getting and staying in shape.

I enjoy reading about the financial markets on the many blogs. I find it fascinating and a challenging, rewarding and sometimes frustrating endeavor. I am also a dog person. That is Bear in the photo. He is a great dog. I also like to mountain bike, hike with my dog, and hang out with friends at the local bar and watch the Phils or Eagles.
My family is nearby and it is nice to visit and do some things with your parents. I have two nephews and a niece and it is great to see them grow up.

I would keep the first date casual, fun, and relaxed. I don't think the place matters that much as long as it is conducive to conversation.
