Currently seeking a long term relationship with a mature and stable woman to share similar interest and passions in hiking, climbing (rock, ice, alpine), skiing (alpine touring, resort style), biking (road, mountain), motorcycles, and sea kayaking. Equally as comfortable hanging out on the lake for a day, going out for dinners, movies, or partying with friends. Definitely not a hang around the house,"What do we do now?" type of guy.

Working on new goals and challenges that will see me to my 60's. I've already accomplished life goals I set out in my 20's.

What does make us unique is our values, and not the ones based on religious dogma. For me, honesty, courage, and integrity are at the top of the list. If these aren't at the top of your list as well, find someone else to be your puppy dog. But ultimately, it's up to the perceptions of others to decide if we are truly unique or just another individual that's part of the herd.

As for music, I like all genres. Depends on the mood, but mostly listen to classic rock, blues, lounge/chill, rockabilly, heavy metal, classical (Beethoven, Mozart), electronic/rave (great for biking), the list goes on and on. Should be more what I don't like. Hip hop, unless it has some good lyrics. Most country western songs unless my dog died, truck blew up and wife done run off with my best friend scenario. Then there are the cultural ethnic sounds of far away places (island drums, east european gypsy, india, islamic, you get the idea) that can get kind of irritating after a while.

For a first date, we should meet at a location of your choosing for some coffee, wine or beer. Then see what happens from there.
