I am a 24 year old teacher who has the charm of a mid-western girl, but the attitude of a jersey girl. I'm originally from Michigan, but have been in Jersey for almost 11 years. I like to read, especially at the beach. I love to travel, but don't do it enough because it costs too much. I like to be surrounded by those I love, whether it's friends or family, or my dogs. I can be shy when you first meet me, but it doesn't take long for me to come out of my shell. I like to entertain people; can be with a funny joke, or story or a get together at my beach house. I have a naturally nurturing personality and teaching is the perfect occupation for me.
I like to go out and have a good time with my friends, but I also like to stay in more nights than not. I love to watch movies and have quite an eclectic DVD collection. I'm also pretty proud of my iPod's contents. I've got everything from country, hip-hop, reggae, rock, 80's, and pop, but my two favorite artists are Matt Nathanson and Biggie- complete opposite sides of the music spectrum.
I'm not super athletic, but I played lacrosse in high school and try to hit the gym regularly. I like to watch the Detroit Red Wings and the NY Giants when I can.
I am a fifth grade teacher and am going for my Master's in administration. I want to get married someday and start a family, but would like to travel the world before having kids. I look forward to having my summers off and being a beach bum for the rest of my life :) but that's not the reason I'm a teacher, either.
I'm mature for my age and over the college scene. I know what I'm looking for.

I would like to do something fun, like mini-golfing or bowling. I don't know of many people who can't have fun doing something laid back. There's usually an opportunity or two to laugh, which always is a plus.
