Hello and thanks for taking the time to get to know me the "virtual" way ! I joined this site as a means of sharing a few things about myself, as well as learning about others. Although meeting and making new friends is great, my goal here is to hopefully meet and "connect" with one special woman who is serious about contributing to the establishment of a meaningful and sincere relationship, yet can let the serious side go when the time is right and just have fun ! C'mon, I know you're out there ! Life is a mixture of many experiences that we learn from, reflect upon, and grow with. It's all about the choices we make and and the chances we take. I'm 46 years old and ready for the second chapter of my life. I am not perfect in any sense of the word. Who is ? Imagine how boring the world would be if everyone were perfect and noone made mistakes. My journey through life has taken me to a place within myself where I realize that there is so much more for me to learn about and share with someone special. Everyday won't be sunny. Some days it will rain, and when it rains, I'll hold the umbrella for you if you'll do the same for me.
With that being said, here I am, searching for the ONE woman who can, and will return to me all that I am willing to give to her. A relationship is a partnership. A relationship requires effort, time, understanding, and the willingness to stand by each other through whatever obstacles life will sometimes throw at us. Im looking for the woman who is her own person and is secure and able to accept who I am. We have all made mistakes and when two people can accept each other as they are, what can life present that can't be conquered ? I want to laugh, experience happiness through giving and receiving, take advantage of all that life has to offer and know that there is that one special person in my life who will always be there for me and with me. I enjoy occasionally going out to listen to good music, have dinner and a drink and on the other hand, I'm just as happy being at home, watching a good movie, cuddling on the couch, and just enjoying each other's company. I'm a former mobile DJ, and grew up listening to old school R&B, but as time went on I learned about different styles of music and now can listen to anything from R&B to hip hop, to rock, to some country and I love going to concerts. I pride myself in being versatile enough to put on a suit and tie to attend dressier functions or flip flops and shorts to just hang out doing nothing. I'm not obsessed with constantly worrying that everything is in place all the time, but I do like neatness and order and I extend that to my appearance as far as looking nice and being well groomed for any occasion. How much should, or could I say about my "ideal" woman ? Let me start by saying that an attractive attribute in a woman is her level of confidence in herself. A woman who knows what she wants and goes after it, a woman who takes pride in herself, isn't afraid to express loyalty, compassion, and love, and isn't fearful of showing her feelngs of affection in public or behind closed doors. Holding hands in public, a hug in front of whomever or wherever, a quick phone call just to say "I'm thinking about you", are all "nice to haves" in a woman. I am flexible enough to want to try anything once within reason. I love to travel, have seen some parts of the world, but not all of it. There is so much left to do and see. It would be nice to have someone to share dreams with, learn from, and grow with. I'm sometimes quiet, can be a bit shy at first, but I can engage in conversation about anything ! We all have our opinions and thoughts. Who's to say one is right or wrong ? The point is ..sharing, communicating, and accepting. I heard some very interesting words recently..When you have a setback, don't step back cause God is preparing you for the ultimate comeback. I believe that.
