My name is Joe. I'm a single guy and I would like to meet someone to spend time with and possibly build a relationship. I'm divorced and have been for some time. I don't have any children, own my own home, and I consider myself a hard worker. I lived in California in the eighties and nineties (LA area), but returned to CT to be closer to my family. I have many interests, I love to read, go to movies, dine out and sometimes just stay in with someone special. My taste in music varies, but I always return to rock/blues and some jazz. I love dogs and cats, and I currently have a dog, I would have a cat also, but I don't think my dog would be happy about that...she's really spoiled. I hope that if I do meet someone here they would share my love of animals.
I love the change of seasons, but summer is my favorite. I like to go to the beach, I have a Jeep, and I always take the top off in the summer months, there's nothing like cruising on a beautiful, warm day.

I think a first date should be simple...a coffee shop, walk on the beach or in a park, preferably on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, that way, if things go well, the date can continue.
