I...

• am a designer for a merchandising/design firm in midtown manhattan and actually love my job
• live on the lower east side-I assure you, I am not cool enough to live down here and don't prefer my men (or just men in general) to wear anything tighter (mainly pants) than anything I own. If you are one of these men, please DO NOT inquire within.
• have a love/hate relationship with Manhattan, but I think that comes along with choosing to live here. I am from upstate New York-I'm talking legit upstate New York, not Westchester.
•love to cook, but manage to do so on the world's smallest counter top-I also tend to spice up a poor man's meal with some of my own ingredients
• enjoy getting a buzz during the day...and I live across the street from a wine shop, which occasionally causes problems. I frequent the Aussie all-you-can-drink brunches which also can cause problems. I also prefer pubs over clubs.
• love all asian food all the time...and as long as we're on the subject of food, I will try any food at least once and enjoy doing so
• am wildly obsessed with Tom Hanks and cheese (yes, I know-two words you never thought you would hear in a sentence together)
• like reading. occasionally. I try to balance my smut and my fairly educational books, but not gonna lie-i tend to lean towards the smut/fluffy books.
• have a very close knit group of friends from college and am a big believer of quality over quantity. I am very loyal in all my relationships whether it be friends, family or significant other.
• look exactly like my younger brother and we are 7 years apart. if you put our baby pictures next to each other, it's really hard to tell the difference between us
• love music. Mostly anything surfer-esque a.k.a indie, acoustic, anything of the sort. although my running mix does include some Lady GaGa and T.I. (don't judge) Oh, and one time I hung out with Fergie and Will.I.Am (sp?)
• recently ran a 1/2 marathon and like to stay in shape, but for some reason ever since then, I, cannot for the life of me, run more than 4 miles at a time without hyperventilating
• am one of the nicest most easy-going people you'll meet, but I enjoy a little (or much) sarcastic/witty banter from time to time. I also enjoy making fun of people.
• basically am looking for the perfect man who worships the ground I walk on and laughs at all my jokes while at the same time is wildly attractive and can take my sarcasm as well as dish it out. Oh, and buy me dinner too. thx. Cool?

i like someone who likes getting out and actually doing things...so maybe renting bikes on governors island or going to a yankees game (or mets, i don't discriminate). Alcohol always helps make things not so awkward.. :)
