My biggest passion is travel and I love to go anywhere. To date I have traveled through most of Western Canada and the United States, Europe, SE Asia (I lived in Vietnam for a few months), Australia and New Zealand. My eventual goal is to travel to every major metropolitan city, visit every continent and live and work abroad in at least two other countries.
I'm currently enrolled in a Master's program in Geology focused on paleontology where I get to travel to the Arctic to study. Eventually I plan to go into the oil and gas industry. I love geology because I like the outdoors, hiking, camping, and nature photography. I enjoy adrenaline sports like skydiving, bungee jumping, adventure SCUBA diving etc.
It's a bit of a dichotomy, though, that despite my love of the outdoors, I love to go to art, science and natural history museums and zoos and aquariums. These sorts of activities usually take me a full day because I love to read and look at everything.
I'm a very outgoing, talkative person and I love to meet new people. I am always the first to introduce myself around while at a party. One of my favourite things to do is throw themed parties. I love to come up with unusual get-together and activities, and so much the better if I can get dressed up.
I don't really care for music very much (I know, blasphemy! I also hate cheese!! Apparently, according to my friends, this makes me a freak of nature...) but if I had to pick it would be acoustic type music: folk, indie rock, or instrumental.

I love unusual dates! I would suggest a day at the zoo, walking around looking at animals and getting to know one another. If things were going well and we wanted to continue, heading off for dinner. Afterward we would hit the local improv club for a "Who's Line Is It Anyways?" type comedy show.
