Hello, internet people. I guess if your here it's because you want to know a little more about me. Well, let's start with what I am: I'm curious, fairly intelligent, a little bit geeky, and a prolific writer. I know how to play D&D and bake a pie- not at the same time, of course:I tried that once and I couldn't get the burnt pie smell out of my house for days. One day I'd like to become a pastry chef. In the evenings I like going for long walks and talking about everything, or talking about nothing, sometimes at the same time. I am my own non-sequitur.

Let's move on to what I am not. I am not a game player, I'm not one of those "desperate for attention so I'll hop into bed with the first guy who gives me a compliment" fat chicks, I'm not a fifties housewife and I am most definitely not your mother (I hope. That would be all sorts of awkward now, wouldn't it, and would also break several laws of physics). I'm not one of those people that fits neatly into a little box, for whatever that's worth. Also, totally not an android. Even though I wish I was.

The first date should be something fun and casual- a day spent roaming the zoo, for example, would be utterly fantastic. Also, I wouldn't say no to coffee, followed by a trip to a used book store, or something cool and unusual that I haven't even thought of yet. Besides, dates are more about the company than the activity.
