I've been trying to think of something to write for the last hour. Talking about yourself is a lot harder than you'd think.

I love to cook and am constantly trying new recipes. I have been trying to cook healthy. You can make really good tasting health foods. I love to read a good book. I'd like to say that I read thought provoking and important literature, but in reality I love a good mystery or court room drama. I like to see movies, either out, or at home. I like a good romantic comedy, a good war picture, and everything in between. I like to listen to live music. I like all types of music, but tend to listen to rock, classic rock and metal. Sometimes you just need a little noise. I like to spend time outdoors, especially when the weather is nice. I walk, a lot. I spend a fair amount of time at the gym. That is my stress reliever. I love to laugh, I've learned that life is too short not to. I like to watch sports,college or pro.

I am extremely independent. I guess I've had to be, being single for so long. I m looking for a partner I can depend on. Someone who will be there for the bad times as well as the good (not that I'm anticipating bad times, but I'm a realist). Someone who can be emotionally invested in a relationship, not just go through the motions.

They say there is someone out there for everyone. I am skeptical. Maybe you can make me a believer.
