I was recently asked by a friend to describe myself with five words. This is what I came up with:

5. True
Evidently, we were having a serious moment...which does happen occasionally around here. The rest of the time, I'm fun, witty, sacastic, spontaneous and energetic. Wow, there's nothing like touting your own horn to make a person REALLY uncomfortable. I think to really know me, you only have to talk to me. I'm an open book and I wear my heart on my sleeve (cliche count @ 2).

I have a career I really love and actually enjoy heading there each day...it's the morning part I can't stand. Please read: I am not a morning person. As a teacher, I get to make connections and develop relationships with kids, have a great time, and if we're lucky, maybe even learn something along the way. I also own my own business that I work at on the side, just for shits and giggles, which keeps me busy but happy.

I like long walks on the beach and getting caught in the rain...BAhahahah. What is this, Love Connection circa 1987? I love...good wine and great food. Being with friends, whether it's at a back yard BBQ or out at the pub. Movies are great, as long as there's popcorn, at home or in the theatre. I fancy body art and piercings, adventure, taking a walk on the wild side (cliche #3), extreme sports, adrenaline, giggling, exploring, relaxing, breathing and just being. Music is my medicine and there's nothing I won't listen to. Greenday to Metallica to the Beatles to Santogold...

I guess this is the excruciating part where I outline what I'm looking for. What if I don't know? I'm looking for a reason to leave the house! HAHA. As if I need one. Actually, I think life's too short not to fill it with as many interesting people as possible, so maybe that's you. Intelligent conversation, a good laugh, a great time...who knows where that could go! From here to the moon, Alice...
