Who I am looking for:
My ideal woman has a strong personality, a great sense of humor, and a demeanor that is somewhat subdued but a nature that is passionate. She is affectionate, caring, kind, but most of all, smart and level headed. She would have to be well mannered, cultured, and playful but also at times willing to discard those traits when appropriate. She is heavenly blessed and worldly wise. She is beautiful but doesn't really know it.

I prefer women who are heavier than what medical science says a girl should be for her height. I like girls who take care of their bodies and take pride in their appearance. I admire a woman who is well versed in western culture. A deep appreciation for classical art and literature; a woman who is familiar with the classics. A healthy appreciation if not passionate LOVE for the fine and performing arts is also a plus. A well rounded education mixed with a healthy dose of modern skepticism and good old fashioned southern common sense is ideal. Knowledge of manners, etiquette, and wisdom to know that they are nice but not critical to the human experience is important as well. Open mindedness and middle of the road political views are preferable, but differences of opinion on political issues doesn't preclude harmony in a relationship. A willingness to try something different and new and the lust to experience the unknown are also highly desirable qualities in that "special someone".

Spiritually, I like a joyous spirit, an overall optimistic bent, a cheery disposition, but not lacking in passion and fire! A woman who will comfort and console AND who will taunt and prod when called for. A woman who knows the beauty of life and the joy of sharing it. A woman I can pray with a woman who understands me, or at least tries to and just takes me at face value if she can't. A soul that is moved by music, art, drama, and the beauty of creation. A good first date might include spending a day together taking in some interesting bohemian places/events, maybe some museums or other cultural attractions followed by an evening of great food and drinks and maybe something relaxing and quiet to cap things off.
