I’m a young professional, a lover of life, interested in meeting interested and interesting people. I’m looking for someone with a great smile, a good sense of humor and someone who has a healthy zest for life.

So what about me?

I love good food; it can really make a social occasion, be it eating in or out. It’s a great leveler being sat round a table, so be it over a coffee, eating in or a nice meal out I’ll be there. But hey, sometimes a big night is in order so if there’s music and a dance floor that’s all good too.

I love to travel, I’ve been a whole host of places from Asia to America, staying eating in 5* hotels and eating Michelin Star restaurants to 50p a night hostels and dining in hawker stands. I’m returning to the States, to New York and Boston, in September, so if you have any recommendations on how to make my trip that little bit different I’d love to hear from you.

I’m a fan of all sorts of sports, if I’m watching it, I’d rather be there. You’ll find me at Fratton Park following Portsmouth or watching the Twenty20 at the Rosebowl. Formula 1, basketball and baseball are all on the agenda this year to. If I’m not watching I’m active and playing, tennis, badminton, swimming or general gym work to keep me fit and healthy, though I’m not an obsessive everything in moderation.

I also like cinema and theatre and go regularly, I don’t mind the genre so long as it is good. My favorite performance so far has been the Blue Man Show I saw in Las Vegas, electric, a must see I assure you.

For a university graduate I’m not that into books, I’d like to read more, but my studies at work tend to occupy that sphere. I have a keen mind for current affairs and like to keep abreast of what’s going on in the world.

To be honest I'm lucky enough to have done all sorts with my life, too much to get down onto paper. If you have too then send me a message and maybe we can compare notes?

Without huge immodesty I reckon that I'm a pretty nice guy, I won’t mess you around, I’m a man with principles; I’m strong, dependable and caring.

So why am on here? To tell it straight I have a woeful inability to find suitable single people. I’ve never thought getting wasted and pulling is the good foundation of a relationship and otherwise I don’t really bump into many suitable candidates, pretty much everyone else I know is already paired off.

I guess I better mention this... I am for my sins a wheelchair user, consequences of an accident a couple of years ago; but if you can forgive me that you won't regret it.

This has changed life a little, in some ways not at all. Alas, despite being 6’ tall I now sit a proud 4’2’’. But I’m no basket case, since being in a chair I’ve made trips to Europe and the Americas, been to Wembley, shot machine guns, done indoor skydives and a whole lot more. I’m still active playing tennis, badminton, swimming and I still love getting out and about.

Hate to be stereotypical, but some good food followed by a some sport, a film or trip to the theatre and then a few drinks and conversation to while away the evening.
