As a family girl, I’m very close with my daughter and last November my father moved in with us. It’s great having three generations in the house and I like that it gives my daughter a broader sense of things having different perspectives around her. In addition to my family, I adore cheese. And why do I love it so much? Because it goes with everything! Wine and cheese, cheese and crackers, cheeseburgers, you name it. Smooth and creamy, melty and delicious – every kind has its own personality. My job lets me help people and it’s amazing to see how something as simple as a hearing aid can reconnect someone with the world and pull them from complete isolation. I like dancing, though I am not the type who likes to go out and meet people at a club. I also enjoy singing – in the car, the shower, at work. With a little liquid courage, I have been known to do a bit of karaoke as well. Music of all kinds of great! Once people get to know me they find I am quirky, a lot of fun, and prone to bouts of goofiness. Amongst my group of friends, I am usually the one who brings on the belly laughs.

The man who will capture my heart has a quick wit and is always up for a lively conversation. A healthy love of cheese is always appreciated, but not mandatory. He refuses to let his serious side weigh him down like an anchor, and is generally happy with the state of his life. He is pretty independent and comfortable in his own skin, maintaining his own friend and interests. His level of security in himself and our relationship let him know that we don’t need to be together 24/7, but when we are together, we each know that the other one cares. It’s all about the little gestures, like holding a door and things like that.

I would hope it might involve eating a little cheese.
