It's not easy to write about myself but here it goes. Just a few things that are important to what I like and who I am. Can’t put it all down, but then why would I…more to find out once we meet.
The first thing about me is that you will realize that I have a passion for animals. I have several dogs and cats, own a pet sitting business that I started when young, and volunteer with pet rescue groups and have for a long time. This is a big part of my life so one needs to like animals and support what I do.
Besides that I like music, many types and listen to songs throughout the day. I also enjoy watching TV or a movie, either alone or with someone else. Owning a house, I enjoy doing projects both inside and out. I like to keep busy, but at the same time enjoy some downtime, especially if it can be with a friend or someone special. Going out is nice at times, but I'm very content to stay home, have a friend over, make a meal and do whatever. I also enjoy going for bicycle rides and going for walks.Or taking car rides to nowhere just because. Sometimes a pet of mine will join me too. Until I get to know you I am on the quieter side. Mostly enjoy simple things and am known to be very young at heart. I play piano at times and love to write poetry (which I often do). Am very romantic and love, love and sentimental things. I enjoy talking to people about many subjects; sometimes can be important, sometimes not. Friendship and those who I hold dear to me I value a lot. I'm flexible and easygoing, patient and understanding. Treat people the way I want to be treated. Honesty and respect are just some of the attributes that are very important to me.
I want someone who I can trust and get to know better. Holding a conversation and sharing thoughts are something I value. I would like to meet someone to spend some time with getting to know more about them and visa versa. It’s nice having someone to share things and do things with. I am looking for friendship at first and if it develops into something more, all the better. And a companion in life is something I would desire if it’s meant to be. Any relationship though, I feel has to start with being a friend. Then in time we can build from there.

Not really sure about the first date since its really a first meeting. Something casual and simple, like a coffee house, where we can talk and get to know each other and see where it might lead. Then we can discuss whatever the 'first date' can be.
