Ok everybody, raise your hand if you also think this is both the hardest part of of the whole process AND the most awkward. I'm not a politician, so I don't know how to go on & on about myself. Hobbies. Is'nt anything you do that's not work related a hobby? I'll give it a try though. Not sure this qualifies as a "hobby" but 1 of the things I like to do is just get in the truck and drive. No destination, just going. You'd be amazed the things you see when you're not looking for them. Try it sometime. I used to enjoy fishing but after I sold my boat it lost it's luster to me. When you can just scoot around from place to place on the water from spot to spot, take a tiki bar break etc... the whole dragging all your gear around in a truck looking for a "good" spot does'nt measure up. Kinda boring actually. Music's easy - anything but rap/hip-hop. And I mean anything. Like someone once said : Music is the soundtrack to our lives. Ever hear a song on the radio that makes you flash back to something you have'nt thought about in forever? That's what music is to me. A reminder to jolt good memories long forgotten. As you can tell it's impossible for me to write a "short" note. Once did 18 pages to a friend up north just catching up.

This one's easy. Sharky's On the Pier in Venice. They've always got a great live band playing, brand new pier you can walk out over the waves on, plus a nice mix of people from all walks & places. Guess you can say I'm a bit of a people watcher, I like running into complete strangers and have short conversations about nothing. Everybody's got a story they wanna tell, they just want someone to listen. What's it cost? 5 minutes of your life to make someone feel important about themselves - a worthwhile price in my humble opinion.
