I am a 25 year old teacher who stays in during the week, however, I love going out on the weekends. I lived in Lincoln Park for the past year and had a blast but just bought a condo in the suburbs to be closer to my job and grad school. As for my job, I am a special education teacher working mainly with students who have learning disabilities in reading and math and as for grad school, I am getting my masters to be a reading specialist and will have a reading specialist teaching certificate, taking my certificate count to 3. I have a dog named Jake that I love and treat like a child. The type of music I listen to varies a lot! So I guess the best way to describe it would be to say my pandora stations: Gavin Degraw, Ray Lamontagne, Keri Noble, Josh Groban, Marie Digby, Piano Concerti, Jim Brickman, ****cat Dolls, Glee, and Hymns. Pretty girly, I know. In the world of dating, it seems that either a guy likes me more than I like him or I like him more than he likes me. I am just looking for the happy medium!
*Sidenote* I feel wrong writing this but I feel it's better to be upfront about some things. Now, I am exactly 5'10" and I do wear 3 inch heals at times making be 6'1". If your profile says you are 5'10", you are probably 5'8" or 5'9" and that's totally fine when a girl is 5'8" and under. However, as much as I do not think height should matter, sadly, it does play a part in compatibility. So please keep that in mind.

Hmmmm.... There's lots of things that could be a good first date. A sporting event, casual dinner, festival, street fair, concert and the list goes on and on. However, I definitely like it when the guy takes me somewhere he has been before for the first date. Once we are more comfortable with each other, then we can explore new places together.
