I'm a life-long Michigander and metro Detroiter, and am most dedicated to my family and loyal to a fault to those around me. I'm half Syrian, and am very proud of my Middle Eastern heritage.

I have a big heart and open it to the right people, at the right time. It's been bruised badly in years past, but heals itself over and again. I strive to stay positive about life, and am looking for someone with the same attitude.

I love the incredible music, arts, fine food and live music you find here in the Detroit area. I'm a music journalist and trained classical saxophonist. I love good film and live music - especially rock concerts - but also love silly stuff, like Adam Sandler movies and Spinal Tap.

Most of all, I'm looking for someone to enjoy these things with - a companion in my life's journey, if you will. I'm not looking for a perfect match, and - despite what Web sites like this one day - don't believe perfect matches exist. That's what makes life interesting.

I have a unique sense of humor, and those who get it can't get enough of me. Like everyone, I have my quirks, but am able to laugh about them and not take things too seriously. I'm hoping to find someone who also doesn't take things, or themselves, too seriously.
