I'm a curious blend of old-fashioned values and independent thinking. I am 5', curvy. I'm overly optimistic, shy at first, and looking for friendship first, then a long term relationship.

I am looking for someone who appreciates family, has a sarcastic (but not mean!) sense of humor, enjoys games (card, board and video!), and isn't afraid of embracing the humorous side of life. A man who 'gets' me intellectually, understands my quirky humor, and appreciates my loyalty. I'm not sure if I have a term for my type, but my match has to encompass : intellect, humor, honesty, integrity, understanding, empathy, the art of conversation, an appreciation of silence, unconditional love. It can't help to enjoy kids (I do!), dogs (I have two), and cats (I have two). Two kids, two dogs, and two cats!

I lean toward murder mysteries, science fiction, and fantasy books and movies. Ok, I admit I have all the Star Trek ornaments for my Christmas tree!! The previews are my favorite part of going to the movies - seeing a little slice of upcoming movies is heaven. I am interested in all kinds of music - live concerts are fun. Long drives and enjoying a glass of wine on the deck are my idea of a relaxing weekend.

How about dinner or a drink? No need to be so formal - it can be relaxed and fun!
