50 Pushups might sound goofy, but it was an exercise program I created to heal a wounded back!


I am looking to meet more people and create friendships, and then see what happens from there. It can only be a good thing if your heart's in the right place.

I have a career in sales that I'm successful at and I love. I used to be a school teacher (French, Phys Ed, Geography) for about 8 years but gave that up about a decade ago. My life is solid, but I am looking for someone cool to enjoy some enjoyable times with. Things like talking about books and movies, music, ideas, different places around the world and closer to here too.


I love outdoor stuff, skiing, snowboarding, fishing, hiking, golfing, love to ride my bikes (road and mountain). I love to travel, go on my motorcycle, go to the Gulf Islands, to Van, to Seattle, Hawaii, and cool places I know in our own amazing country. I've lived in Quebec City, Toronto, Wales, Van and Manitoba and I've got friends in all those places.
I play guitar, but do not have great skills yet. I play sports, swim a lot, and love to go to restaurants, but I also like to cook/entertain and am always amused when someone tells me about some great wine or funky booze drink they made/had. In the last three years I've been travelling a LOT, read: since my marriage ended, lol. I feel like I'm a great catch now that I've put the disappointment of marital failure behind me. In a movie I saw, there was a line, "In every loss, there is an opportunity for self-reflection." I believe I've done that.

I like women who are happy with life, (or are in the process of making it better!), are optimistic, adventerous, feel good about themselves, and are sexy-but you don't have to be obsessed with your looks; someone with a great personality is more what I consider attractive. I am not afraid of commitment with the right person. I am new to this online dating stuff so be gentle :)

Something simple like going for a drink to see if we hit it off and from there I am up for almost anything fun. I'm old fashioned about first dates!
