Well, here we are again.

It is a testimony, I think, to our persistence, and possibly pure pig-headedness that so many of us return, time and again, to search for loves Holy Grail. Perhaps that's overly harsh-particularly with regards to the reference to the pig who, though by all accounts a fine and possibly noble animal, does not present a particularly flattering cranial comparison.

Maybe it's a tribute to our human spirit and the depths of our desire to share lifes intimacies (and dirty dishes) with that special "One". (How's that for a Soap; "The Dirty Dishes of our lives...")

I wrestle with this you know; the desire to be free and self-reliant complicated by an intrusive need (yes, abashedly true, a need) to love and be loved. The comforting and sensual joys of waking up with that warm sweet someone certainly seem to outweigh the benefits of an open sprawl-inviting bed. Do you at times as well feel it would be best for you to continue solitarily onward, but then think, "Perhaps, if I try ONE more time..."? "What if...?"

I share my admiration of you, the frequent trier, and for you the first or second time debutante. Follow your dreams and your heart, I say, and I commiserate with you every heart racing and heart sinking step of the way.

I wish you and me well, and if fortune should smile upon us, then perhaps we can wish us well, as well (that sounded very redundent, but I couldn't think of any other way to write it.) I look forward to your smiles, pokes, roses, or notes, or whatever it is that happens here these days.

Oh, how I do hate the trite meeting for coffee routine-possibly because I drink tea. Can we DO something together a little different to see if we can make each other smile? Maybe a walk, or mini-golf, or tennis, or dog comparing (I have one-it's very cute and likes being with me). Ultimately, whatever you feel comfortable with would work for me.
