Hi, I am a smart, considerate, and compassionate divorced dad with many interests. I have lived in several places in the U. S. (I am quite thankful to have landed in Seattle), I have visited several countries outside of North America, and I have lived in Japan for two years. I just returned from an amazing three-week work trip to India. I have lived a vegetarian lifestyle for a few years now and India was a perfect place for someone like me.

I have worked as a mechanical engineer at my current company for two and a half years. I enjoy what I do and I am happy with the variety of jobs I am assigned to do. I like that I get to travel for work and have the flexibility to take advantage of those trips.

I compete in ice hockey and triathlons. I also enjoy just about all other sports. I am a good environmental steward and part of this involves me riding my bicycle to work every day. I am looking forward to meeting the right person to have intelligent conversation, enjoy what the area has to offer, and develop an otherwise completely satisfying relationship.

I am looking for friends and dates who are compassionate toward those who do not have the power that most of us have. Someone who is confident and will not give in when she knows she is right about something.

A nice first date should leave us with anticipation and longing for a second date. I think a casual stroll through the park or around the lake accompanied by sparkling conversation and flirting would help to make this happen. Of course, I also enjoy a nice restaurant with dessert :-)
