About Me
So here's my deal. I've got a lot of interests, and obligations so I like to make the most of my time. I'm moderately ambitious and slightly over-educated; a straight talker with a flair for refined and intelligent conversation. I'm always sincere and honest without being a jerk and never say anything that I don't mean. Shoot. Well I do joke around which requires me to bend the truth a little..Aw whatever.
I'm looking for interesting people who know themselves and can carry a conversation without leaving me to do all the work. To be honest I realize that although I know a little something about everything, I don't know everything. So I don't pretend to know everything anymore, and can say that I learn something new from everyone. So tell me something new. Oh and looks matter to some degree. But this is LA foxy ladies and you've got to bring more game to the table than just your looks, seeing as there's a whole bunch of you, and that looks never last. So there ; )
I should say that I tend to hang out with people who, for lack of better phrasing, tend to "talk smart." We're all products of our environment and therefore have a bunch of fancy degrees. At the same time, we can be very down to earth and under the right conditions, positively wild. Point, is we can discuss the enduring drama of Brad and Angelina and the cost of gasoline, then quickly move to the influence of foreign direct investment on the likelihood that it leads to conflict between nations. Shoot, I don't even know what that means.
My favorite drink was a Dirty Ketel One with three olives. I'm in a transition point with****ails right now. Which means either beer or wine. Hey, no need to be stubborn about our own tastes right?
oh wait. goals and aspirations--To complete this nasty doctorate degree and to continue doing not what makes me happy per se, but what fulfills me. Happiness seems to follow anyway.
First Date
I don't go on dates. I just go out to have fun and a generally good time. Dates are for boring people with no creativity. With that outta the way...
One, I really want to check out Griffith Observatory because I like science and it reminds me of my childhood days when my dad would bring me there.
Two, The Standard Downtown is now played out again. But that doesn't change that the food is still great. Just sucks to have a bunch of pretentious dippy scenesters running around blowing hot air all over the place--then again, given the nighttime temperature, maybe that's not such a bad thing.
