Hi! I'm in the Army and am currently deployed to Iraq with the 1st Cavalry Division out of Ft. Hood, Texas. I'm originally from Iowa, near Des Moines and hope to return there someday...after all it just feels like home to me. They keep me pretty busy around here but in my free time I like to read books, watch movies, work out(this is a daily necessity), play sports when we can, and goof around on the internet. When I'm back in the states I like to hit up a bar or go fishing.

I'm looking to finish up my college degree(Biology major), whether that will involve the Army or not remains to be seen(I've been looking into becoming an officer.) I'm a pretty down to earth regular guy, just looking to find a direction in life that will make me happy.

As for about me personally, some of the vital stats are listed above but I'm a pretty low key guy until you get to know me, intelligent, sarcastic, and funny. I've got a diverse sense of humor that ranges dry dark sarcasm to laffy taffy jokes. I'm athletic and a natural runner(despite the fact that if the army didn't make me run I probably wouldn't get around to it too much :)
