Hi, I'm Ruben. I'm a ambitious, hard working, single Latino with no children. I think I have my life for the most part on track. In all seriousness I am not into the party scene! Guess because i was partying and throwing house parties in high school, I have grown out of the whole idea of going out just to meet girls! Don't get me wrong that part of me is still there... It was time to start building a future. I just purchased my first fixer-upper home last year and it's been an interesting experience, all troubles aside, it's great to come home and see the house transform and know i did the work. I consider myself a positive, creative, intelligent guy. People say I have a really chill personality. I just try not to worry about little problems that aren't important and will be forgotten quickly, and try to make the best of any situation I find myself in. It's important to laugh and enjoy life as much as possible, it goes by too fast to be bored and unhappy. I've realized there is a learning curve to pretty much anything I like doing, I guess I enjoy challenges. I'm always trying to learn and improve at whatever I end up getting into, but try to stay well-rounded and do a variety of things...got any other fun ideas? :-)

I love pretty much anything music related and have a very eclectic taste in music, whatever is good in any genre. I play guitar, and starting piano lessons. I also have a home recording studio that is my passion @ the moment! I grew up listening to classic rock and punk rock, then Hip Hop hit the air, but I enjoy many different styles of rock, hip-hop, folk, jazz, blues, or anything good! I would love to produce music full time and have the opportunity to work w/ artist I'm a fan of, and see the world in a unique way, but I haven't pulled that off yet... I'm still young! For fun I like hanging out with friends at bars, parties, shows, anywhere with good live music, or just hanging out with a few friends at someone's house. As much as I like going out, having some drinks, and staying out past my bedtime :-P I can't do that all the time. I balance that out by consistently working out and staying in shape. Walking my dog is a must everyday! Most of my spare time is spent in my home studio creating new beats or working on recordings. Occasionally I will wear myself out and just want to do something lazy like lay around the pool, read or watch a movie.

My family is very important to me, Its a large family thats still growing strong, and we are all very close, We get together every sunday @ grandmas for a BBQ and spend quality time with her, its been a family tradition since i could remember.

Since I need to do something to pay the bills, I'm in construction as a carpenter by trade specializing & skilled in custom built cabinets , & fixtures, which I actually enjoy very much! You see my work @ various big name retail stores and supermarkets. I love to work w/my hands, and not scared of manual labor, its something about creating something from nothing, always taught to work hard and take pride in what you do. I was eventually able to turn that into a way to make a good living. I still enjoy learning new skills in my trade. I use the skills i have learned in remodeling my first home that i live in, and have saved soo much money in labor cost, plus the joy of seeing, and hearing compliments on work i do!

First dates? HMmm... It really depends on what my date is into and comfortable with. i think it would be LAME to go on the same date over and over again with different people. different people, different interests, different dates. Anything comfortable and casual where you can talk and get to know each other better... something like dinner, drinks, hanging out at the beach, or just walking around somewhere. Ice cream for me is always a great idea!
