Hello, and thanks for checking out my profile. I am a conservative, Christian woman with old-fashioned family values. Although I have been a teacher for over 21 years, I am now involved in a mission for homeless women and children. I enjoy many creative endeavors like writing, drawing, papercrafts, jewelry making, singing and playing the piano. I am presently working on two books, a devotional book and a children's book, both of which I am also illustrating. These are coming along slowly but I will eventually complete them, if only for my friends and family who have been encouraging me for years to do them. I finally am.

I am a conservative and old-fashioned woman in a modern world who doesn't really get such a creature. That's ok with me. I am who I am and I make no apologies for that. I am moral, honest, trustworthy, and funny. I enjoy people for who they are and find their quirkiness to sometimes be the most endearing part of them. I like to see others prosper and I am an encourager. I am not all that interested in serial dating, though I truly enjoy meeting new people and stimulating conversation with people who have something of value to say (but who can also just be silly and have fun). I am hoping one day to meet one person who just really "gets" me - and I "get" him like nobody he has ever met. And we both know what it is to love the Lord and seek His will. That would be awesome...and the great thing is...it could happen.

I enjoy most genre's of music (except extreme heavy metal and rap)though I listen mostly to Christian music for my enjoyment. I enjoy George Winston, Aaron Copeland, and Mussorgsky too. Yes...my musical tastes are eclectic.

First dates I think are best when both are comfortable and at ease. A quiet place for a meal and conversation maybe, or a coffee shop. Maybe even a church activity. This can be planned easily by people willing to communicate.
