I've been playing and performing music since the age of seven. It began in Pentecostal churches where my father preached. Yes, the literal 'son of a preacher man'. While I shook off the doctrine and religion long ago, it is true that I am 'the only boy who could ever teach [you]'

The music I listen to for inspiration is particular. Now, before I name several artists to outline this, let me say to all the people who say they listen to everything - You don't. Music is far too vast. At most, you're willing to listen and I applaud you for this, but that doesn't mean you can hear. I don't listen to everything. I listen to a sliver of what's available and being and been made. Even if our ears are open, we're swimming upstream in a current of commercial formulae which is sold to us in ever dividing sub genres to give us the impression that we have choices and taste preferences. We scarcely do. More so, we are demographically profiled consumers. Lest I go on let me just drop some big names - Tom Waits, Billy Joel, Elton John as composers and lyricists. Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull from my youthful fascination with heavy and experimental British rock.

My current rock band is called Doctor's Orders.

I dived for sea urchins for 4 years.

Shortly out of high school and college, I moved to Nashville, TN. for music (and all I got was this lousy T shirt company)

I began a screen printing company in '97 and relocated it to Bangor two years ago.

I lived in London and have a son who remains there with his mom. He's 5.

Who I'm willing to discover: Provocative and perceptive people with purpose.

Reality: It's questionable.



The partner I choose will be included in and contribute to an incredible adventure (which has already begun-Life isn't waiting for anyone) We will engage in passion, conquest, productivity, intensity, leisure, humor, peculiarity, growth, thinking, enlightenment, erotica and travel. We will live an above average lifesyle by any measure. What I'm looking for in a woman - The list:

2. Smart. Really smart.
3. Curious about nearly everything.
4. Possesses some quirk that would normally put her at the end of the line, but with me it's the front of the line. (QTBD)
5. Ambitious. Really ambitious.
6. Open minded. Not a pack thinker.
7. Physically very attractive: Big eyes, nice teeth and smile, long hair, curvy body (not too thin).
8. Submissive. Yes, I said submissive. Get over it vanillas.
9. Loves rock n roll.
10. Well read.
11. Articulate.
12. Loyal (to herself first, me second).
13. Isn't attached to her children in a disproportionate way - like some of these militant mommies who, once they've pumped out a couple kids by any means necessary, (and I mean don't leave them alone in the bed with your seed, while you walk to the bathroom) they can now reveal their true colors of never having liked sex or intimacy with men to begin with. A nasty means to an end. They just close their minds and legs and wait to die, You know the type.
14. Isn't married to her mother (approval whore).
15. Isn't looking for a sperm donor. I use that term in the broadest sense imaginable.

19: Doesn't think tattoos are an entire pastime or hobby unto themselves. (It's just drawing on your body, no one really cares and you didn't even draw it, did you? Tell me how your butterfly, chinese symbol, or tribal art is so meaningful and unique to you. Puke.) That being said, I actually support the idea and freedom of body art, modification and modern tribal in general. Not on me.
20. Can demonstrate good reason to be exempt from any number of things on this list. In other words, just be yourself and if I like you, you'll know it.



Tell me, have you gone on a date as result of this site? Are you actually looking or just getting a late night ego trip of hitting the delete key? I know that I am living a real and rich life. So, if you want to meet me, make a move...

First, I'd ask if you have a preference or idea. Otherwise, I'd take us to a restaurant with good food and decent decor. I'd try not to get too full as so not to be uncomfortable. We'd put a lot of questions out. We'd answer. We'd interpret each other's answers and choice of questions. It would need to be fairly quiet so as to avoid external distractions. (Like there aren't enough internal ones) Another first date idea would be to take a walk to a quiet spot where there is grass and water. Then, I would hack you to pieces and dump the parts... Kidding. (or am I?) Really, I'm not so romantic that I wouldn't just ask if one of us could pop over to the other's house or apartment and just begin talking. Conversely, I'm not so unromantic that I wouldn't serenade you on the street just outside of your workplace. Whatever lit the fire in the right way. Most important thing is for us to get busy understanding each other's total experience being human and with life so far.
