I've never enjoyed writing about myself. I'm not boastful by nature, but try to be honest, with myself and others. So who is Mike, one might ask? Well:

I currently spend my working hours driving around Ontario, visiting the homes of a ridiculous number of people and trying to keep the TV ratings accurate. I'm not sure what purpose this serves, as all my favourite shows still seem to get canceled. I am a big TV watcher, but only with very specific, well-written shows. Lost, Breaking Bad, Better Off Ted and usually Daily Show, Colbert Report and Conan, along with a slew of others. I treat television like I treat movies, or books - I will invest a lot of time into watching it, but only if I feel it's a worthwhile endeavour.

When I'm not hunkered down in front of the television or buried in a book, there's a good chance that I'm out biking around the countryside, hiking a path, or passed out on a beach somewhere. Unless it's dark outside, of course, then I'm more likely on a patio somewhere with beer in hand, surrounded by friends. That is, in the summer anyway. In the winter I'm inside a lot more, although I hope to at least start to learn to snowboard this year, which should be hilarious to behold.

I also dabble in writing on occasion, although not as often as I'd like. People tell me I'm funny, so I indulge them by having a sense of humour (but it's a pretty weird one). Oh, and I have a cat named Kratos.

I guess there's more...there's always going to be more. But if I type it all out, then what possible reason would anyone have to talk to me?

Well, It's a first date, so I'm going on the basis that we've talked a bit but haven't met. Just something fun for a bit in the afternoon, generally. Walk through the park, grab lunch at a cafe, anything where we can talk and be comfortable. Meeting anyone for the first time is always a little weird, it's good to be able to momentarily distract yourself with a sandwich from time to time.
