ME:
- I have a very strong sense of who I am, and what I want; I don't lie to myself about anything.
- I'm what one would call, a 'deep thinker'. I take something, and try to look at it from all sides.
- I try to empathize with those I may not always agree with in life.
- I'm very direct. I like to lay everything on the table; it doesn't scare me to do that.
- In school, I failed mind-reading class twice but I'm pretty good with body language.
- In any good relationship two people need to communicate. I know I can fulfill my part.
- I love having a good debate and I can admit when I'm wrong.
- I love a good laugh to the point of tears.
- I have flaws; but I won't elaborate on them right now.
- I always try to put the good of the relationship before myself.
- You'll find my house to be impeccably clean; I maintain it myself.
- My literary tastes vary from Chomsky to pulp; it all depends on my mood.
- The same goes for music; if it hits a chord then its all good. If you know and love music from Philip Glass, bonus points.
- I've been to a fair number of places around the world, seen a few things, but I love this little island-city best -- someone reminded me of that on a flight once.
- Finally, I share three days a week with the thing I love most in life: my 2-and-1/2 yr old daughter, who is my motivation to always do more and better. And just to be clear, my daughter already has a mom, so I'm not looking for that.

YOU:
...know who you are.
- You can think out-of-the-box.
- You are direct; we should be able to say anything to each other; no secret gardens please.
- You've been to a war-zone once or twice and maybe more, and its ok if you still have some scars; in fact, it probably helped make you who you are today.
- You also have flaws; and I'm curious to know what they are.
- You provide support, silent or otherwise.
- You are introspective.
- You are understanding, even if we don't agree; which is perfectly fine, in fact, I almost expect it :).
- You are perceptive and articulate.
- You are not afraid to be vulnerable; and I would not take advantage of that fact.
- Finally, you are and should be a best friend and partner.... and I can only promise the same.

Dinner - straight and simple. Its not a marriage proposal or a commitment to have 3 children - its a DATE :). If things don't work out at the end of the night, we each go your separate ways. That's it.
