I hope this doesn't scare all the guys away, but, here goes. I have 6 daughters, 2 still at home, 1 stepson & several grandchildren. I'm a very caring & passionate person about so many things. I'm hoping there is someone out there who wants to start off slow & get to know one another. I'm not looking for a one night stand or any head games. I'm too old for such nonsense. I hope to find someone who's not afraid of any bumps in the road that may come along. Someone who can smile first thing in the morning (yes, even before coffee). Someone who likes being taken care of in a loving way, not a smothering way. It's so easy to find someone who wants to live with me, I'm hoping to find that special someone who can't live without me. I've been a widow for almost 10 years now & I'm beginning to feel the emptiness down to the deepest parts of my being.
I've already said I don't like head games, but, here are just a few games I do enjoy. Cribbage, backgammon, all sorts of board games (love scrabble) & trivia games, pretty much any card game. I do so love to go bowling...it can be so liberating & laughable!!
It would be wonderful to either find someone who lives very close to where I am or would be willing to relocate to this area. I just couldn't be too far away from my children & grandchildren.
I love most music (not into rap, really heavy metal or country) I can go from listening to Janis Joplin to Vivaldi in a heartbeat. I'm not huge on a lot of television...really would rather watch a movie or have a game night or...who knows.
I have been a professional cook/chef most of my life. Some of my specialities are... pastries, seafood & sauces/gravies. But, I love trying different cultural foods too.

Ahhh, yes, the dreaded first date & all the nervous drama that goes with it. I think a great first date would be some sort of an outdoor event. Maybe a flea market or local sporting event. Then afterward, a light lunch or picnic would be nice. Ended with some time to just relax & talk/get to know each other.
