Just having a squizz at the depraved world of online dating. It's like a fantasy world where no-one is who they seem. Men are women, women are men and kids are undercover cops.
Yeah it's a bit harsh but I think it's a pretty accurate description. Or is that just the stereotype? Ok it's probably more a stereotype but there's some degree of truth in it.
Sites like this are corrupted by human nature. How easy is it to be somebody else when you can hide behind the computer screen. Here there are no social filters. Shy people become confident and inhibitions are lessened. For some they completely dissapear.
I reckon half the things people say to each other here, theres no way they would say in a real life social situation. I think everyone does it to a certain extent. Some more than others. I'm not saying that everyones fake on the internet. I know there's a lot of genuine people on here.
If nothing else these sites are interesting, and sometimes amusing. It's like a human observatory. People are the strangest creatures and they fascinate me.
