Let me just start out by promising you that you've never dated anyone quite like me before, and by telling you that my subject line says A LOT about me! If you're looking for a guy who is his own person and knows who he is, and is easy to talk to and get along with and who is absolutely true to his word...look no further. Rest assured that I'm not here to play games (I know you've heard that before, but I mean it!!!!) and that I genuinely care about what you have to say. I'm the kind of guy who says "hi, how are you?" and actually means it!!! I despise dishonesty and mindgames, and I don't dish them out to other people. I'm not one for sports, fast cars, excessive drinking, etc. I have what might be seen as different interests from other guys...I LOVE to read, talk (once I get to know someone!), travel, cuddle up on the couch, watch movies, watch tv, shop, and listen to (appreciate just about ALL KINDS of music, but especially old pros like Elton John, Beatles, Billy Joel, James Taylor etc. and LOTS OF 80's and 90's stuff!) and play music (I've been playing the piano for years, and it's a great stress relief, and if you're really, really good to me, I may serenade you!) Unlike some other guys, I'm also mechanically challenged (don't ask me to fix anything too complicated cuz it probably won't get done well!) and I can't cook to save my life, however I'm very openminded and willing to learn, and also I'm VERY GOOD at doing household stuff, cuz I live alone, which means if I don't do it, nobody else will! I also have strong beliefs and I'm not willing to sell those out, and I learn from my mistakes!

I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, and while I really enjoyed the classes and the people I met through them, I found that it was just a poor fit for me when I entered the working world. I currently work at Wal~Mart and I'm the happiest I've ever been with a job and make just enough money to support myself, with plans to move up in the company. I do own my own home and car also, and am used to being independent.

Now that I've spent soooooo much time talking about myself, (guess I just enjoy hearing myself type!!!) here's what I'm looking for in a woman: You've gotta have a pulse...I mean that's kind of important, right?; You need to be honest, and not willing to settle and put your 50% into the relationship; and as for looks...attraction is purely subjective, and it's secondary to me. In other words, I'm not one to judge a book by it's cover! Just want someone I can talk to and who is open to new things, and who is serious about getting to know me. Someone who's company I can enjoy!
