Well, I grew up in Arizona and moved to Tx a few years ago for an internship. I didn't think I'd last out here very long, but have made some good friends and have grown to like it here. Figure I'll give Ft Worth at least a couple more years...

Right now I work in a hospital as a clinical dietitian. And no, I don't just tell people how to lose weight and/or make menus... My time off is spent mosly at the gym or watching movies. I like to hang out with my friends on the weekends, and go out occasionally. I don't consider myself a party girl, but do enjoy a few drinks on occasion. I don't watch a lot of TV, but have become addicted to Netflix. I like finding new movies I've never heard of or seen before; I've even developed a taste for random documentaries. I also enjoy finding new places to eat, and will try most foods at least once. I like to listen to music as much as I can. I do have a cat, though I am fond of dogs as well - a cat's just easier to take care of at this time, though she's not always the best companion, as she lets me interact with her only when she's interested.

Some other random stuff about me: I'd love to live in Seattle for about a year. Shawshank redeption is my favorite movie. I don't have cable. I'm the 2nd oldest of 4 children. I want to go sky diving. I believe you are what you eat. I don't like grapefruit. I'm not a good cook but I love to bake. I refuse to use "lol" when texting. I am tattooed. I can dance a jig. I do not send out half/naked pictures of myself, so don't ask.

What I'm looking for: basically someone tall (I'd consider myself a tall girl... see above) & single. More specifically, a man with a sense of humor and some brains. I like to consider myself a nerd at heart, an look for that in others; on that note, improper grammar and multiple misspellings are a pet-peeve of mine. I also prefer someone at least half interested in health, as I did make a career out of it.

For a 1st date, I usually prefer meeting up somewhere neutral for dinner or drinks, something that allows for getting-to-know you conversation
