Who I am...I am a spirit in a material world in search of my true equal, not a replica of myself but a man who can manifest his personal desires into action and can appreciate that in a woman. I am a mother of two amazing children who are not looking for a father replacement but definitely someone to talk about wrestling, the latest song, dance and whatever else a 10 and 6 year old want to talk about. I am a writer, performer, and educator, all of which I take seriously. I am fiercely independent, but not because I try to be, it's just my make up. I have an awesome community of friends and family who love and support me and are all around positive. They range in age, race, gender, and sexual orientation, I love diversity though I am very clear on what I am and how I believe.

What I love...quiet time, live music, writing poetry, self-education, reading, singing, mediation/prayer, and laughter. I love that I am embracing motherhood and all of what it means to be an artist. I love that I have opened to this process of on line dating, it is definietly a first for me.

What I desire in a partner...I desire a man who has materially the same or more than me. This would never be a first 5 years ago, but now it seems that it is important, not to me, but to some men. If you don't mind my salary I don't mind yours as long as you work for it, legally! He MUST be smart, intelligent (because there is a difference), creative and confident. He must be friendly though his personality can range. Lots of love and hugs is required. He must be able to receive and give love. Stamina is a must in all areas, I am a busy woman but when I slow down I always make the time valuable. My partner should be able and willing to support me whether in the lime light with me or behind the scenes, depending on his personality. He must be open-minded, as an artist I deal with many people though I am relatively normal. he must understand that family is important but that they are not the rule makers. Community and individuality is key. If my would be partner is a father, that is fine with me I am a mother, non-traditional, but mother nonetheless. Jealousy should be kicked out the door, get in line for the love, but know that you are THE special one.

My current goals are...to have my first novel published, become a regular bike rider, and get better at cooking.

What I offer to a partner...is accountability, loyalty, love, and support. I think what makes me amazing is that I can wear many hats at once in life and in love. I am a total cuddle bug who likes to do special things that are usually not material but more sentimental. I love best when I feel safe and comfortable. I love to talk but I am also a good listener. I am pretty open to what a first date would be as far as activities but the core must be present. Public conversation, friendly atmosphere, laughter, and hopefully great music.
