I'm on the imperfect/Lean/Athletic side ( I suppose it wouldn't kill me to do a sit-up.) I'm a nice guy, genuine, easy going, energetic and passionate. I'm easy to talk to, financially secure, emotionally-intellectually-humorously-physically available, a life-long-learner, love my cat, enjoy being an autonomous adult, I exercise often and eat healthy (without being fanatical... cookies & milk are part of my diet), keep a passably clean apartment (although my ideas about decorating could benefit from a woman's touch... anyone's touch, but mine).
I have:
A tendency to laugh easily, moderately high energy, a love for books, a trusting and generous nature, memory lapses mingling casually alongside insightful clarity and a touch of the blarney.

Interests:
Modern art, academic time, fan of NPR, cultural stuff (arts - food - history), long drives, the movies, afternoons at the beach, kayaking, hiking, Civic activities, wetyourpants laughing, all kinds of music, city-slicking and.... tinkering with broken appliances. Lets have some FUN.

Taking advantage of circumstances, an earlier than planned retirement pension was an option I took just last year (thanks for nothing... Wall Street) but, I'm dusting off my Teachers license and wondering what's behind door #3. I taught science for several years as an attempt to change careers and I may return to teaching.
I would value your opinion about what the future may bring... and the comical jabs at some of my hair-brained ideas.

FYI: My town, Forest Hills, is in Queens (and 3 stops from Midtown Manhattan). It is NOT UPSTATE N.Y.
