I am seeking a long-term relationship with a woman who would like to have children.

I have never been married, have no children and live alone in Suffern, NY, one mile North of the state line at Mahwah, NJ (Bergen County). I own a reliable car and will travel throughout the greater NY / NJ / CT metropolitan area for the right woman.

I own a small business as a Document Preparer and Paralegal, Document Doctor LLC. The slogan for my company is: “Doing 90% of What a Lawyer Does, for 10% (to 25%) of the Price!”

I pride myself on keeping my mind sharp and well-informed. I read The New York Times nearly every day, and watch The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer most evenings.

My professional goals are two-fold. I work to build up my business as a Document Preparer and Paralegal, and I also aspire to become a published writer.

My only real hobby is to write. I enjoy working outdoors, playing a wide variety of both individual and team sports and watching scripted television, but my preferred pursuit is writing. I love throwing around a Frisbee.

I write non-fiction position papers about law, public policy and government. I like to figure things out and then write down my solutions to the major issues that our society faces.

My highest aspiration in life, aside from being a good husband and father, is to perform a service for the Democrats similar to what Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly do for the Republicans. I want to be out walking point in the ideological scrum that now dominates our political culture.

The closest thing that Democrats now have to Mr. Limbaugh and Mr. O'Reilly are Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow of MSNBC, who I agree with entirely, but who are much too nice to the Right for my taste.

I say that we Democrats need to start giving as good as we get. They call us traitors nearly every day. I say that we should return the favor, and just as often.

You don't have to be a liberal Democrat like I am to be with me, but you do have to be willing to accept into your heart and your life a man who is a committed liberal. You don't have to agree with me to be with me, but you do have to be willing to love me, even if you disagree with me.

(I am not sure of whether I want someone who agrees with me, or not. Agreement is great, but healthy and respectful dis-agreement can be very inspiring, too.)

The thing that makes me unique is that I am a very good communicator. I will always answer your questions, and always tell you the truth. You won't ever wonder what I am thinking, because I will always tell you. I am extremely extroverted, and love meeting people and getting to know them.

I won’t cheat on you, because I have been cheated on myself and know the pain of that feeling. I had an extended adolescence (which accounts for my looking a decade younger than I actually am), and I am free of any addictions, whether chemical or behavioral in nature.

I am an adult man with a well-integrated personality, who is now fully ready to become a good husband to the right woman.

I like rock and roll music. Two of my current favorites are Silver Sun Pickups and The Ting-Tings. I enjoy some classic rap and country, but my preference is definitely for rock. I especially enjoy going to live shows, from bars to stadiums.

This traditionally means a dinner date, but that is not required. Anyplace where we can talk, a park, a coffee house, a bar, a restaurant, it doesn't really matter where, just so long as we can have a good conversation.

I like activity dates, just not for the first one. I especially love to see live music, whether at a bar, a theater or an arena.
