Okay, Guys,
Help me out here: I have a theory that the men on pof wait for the woman to initiate communication. There are lots of reasons out of the psychology and relationship books. I would really like to poll those of you who view me: agree or disagree?

Now to the profile: I love to have fun! Spontaneity works best. I am cheerful, kind, determined and, at times, feisty and spirited. My life is eclectic ~ full of a wide variety of friends and interests. I have lived on both coasts, in the Midwest and in the South and learned to appreciate the uniqueness ~ and food!!!~ of each. Cooking is GREAT fun! I enjoy tweaking recipes,
Until my brothers took up fly fishing, (where all I do is lose their flies) I always "out-fished" both of them. The current Phillies ~Dodgers combat is all the sweeter as my brother has never wavered in his love of the "The Bums" since the days before they left Brooklyn. Update: 2nd place is also good.
I am a cheerleader for the underdog; I expect my students to be aware of both their strengths and weaknesses, responsible for their futures, without excuses. It was a career highpoint to find my name plate had been, anonymously, replaced with one that said:” The Encourager."

Not a date ~ Meeting for coffee, ice cream, etc. in a place that has comfortable chairs or preferably a deck or other outside seating, where the noise level is low enough to carry on a good get-to-know you conversation.
