I like to do many things as stated in my interests. Swimming is my ultimate relaxer so I have enjoyed lap swimming almost every day this summer. I delight in new experiences and adventures, but also like the stablity of a home and familiar family and loved ones around me.
I have been teaching second graders for 10 years now and like the teaching-and- children aspect of my job. The economy and state standards have brought difficulties that try to steal the joy away.
I like to dance and have been Square and Round Dancing for several years now. I've taken lessons in many styles of dancing. I enjoy the physical and social aspects of it.
I am located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada so have done a great deal of hiking. It is inspiring as well as relaxing and fun.
I believe in Jesus Christ and attend a large, non-denominational church. My spritual life journey is important to me.
I like classical, Christian, country, rock 'n' roll, oldies, some pop music.
I have a lot of friends I keep in touch with. There is a group of us who raised our children together with whom I still get together with frequently.
I have three grown children and two (truly darling) granddaughters.
I like to travel during the summers.

I just read the results of their short character analysis of myself and do not agree that I lack self-control. I am not lazy nor impulsive in important matters.

I like to ride bikes (or take a walk) on a bike trail not far from where I live. It's a good time to visit and enjoy nature together.
