| | Back in Blenheim, looking for someone to have some indepth conversations, perhaps watch some movies, basically anything that doesn't cost too much agrivation.
I am rather egalitarian minded, live and let live, and am not prone to discrimination on the basis of race or sexuality, though I draw the line somewhere before STD's. I know very few people in this wee village, and wouldn't mind just chatting over a coffee or tea on occasion. (I just ate at a damned buffet today and feal like a fat cow! Moo! I know that will probably scare someone away, but I couldn't help myself. Besides, I usually go through a brief bout of self-loathing just after a mini-gorge-fest.)

I've just tried simplifying this profile a few times, but I cannot help myself from my wordiness. Damnitall!!!! I like words - they are my friends! I am romantically retarded (not to mention politically incorrect). I do not have my pic up here because I appreciate my privacy, and I have had many many women on this site ask me for a pic without even having one nor offering one, and I don't like getting one-upped.
When it comes to honesty, it should be understood that most individuals are possessed of their own unique concepts of honesty. I can be painfully honest if I abso-freaking-lutely must, but I would rather keep things peaceful and friendly. Why? You might ask why. It's just the kind of guy I am - that's why. I am a peaceful person and enjoy the company of peaceful people. Although I am a family man, and enjoy close familial bonds, I am not close with my father or his new family. If that offends anyone, then by all means - don't let the door hit you on the way out! lol I tend to dissect common myths which most people believe. I'm not confrontational but if put to the task I can alter a false belief (ex.) "Life is what you make it." Life is, you were made, amd life is also a combination of what is made for you. If such were not so, then there would be no such thing as crime. It's not fair to tell someone who had just been robbed that life is what they made it. I just like to see people think. I'm attracted to intelligent women, not arrogant or smarmy, but not too dumn either (but then there are a few models that could make a liar out of me!)
This brief note is to save time: I am not into nascar, hockey, football, baseball, country music (and here I mean the red-neck hillbilly, yodelly, twangy-voiced hick stuff from the 50's, although sometimes I love to mimic it), or rap (except for Bare Naked Ladies), and I don't care how sexy anyone thinks they are, I refuse to alter my tastes. There are many other things I am into (ie.) UFC, Boxing, Olympic Wrestling, fake WWE Wrestling, some Martial Arts competitions (unless the Hispanic women are there - they are too loud!) I don't watch t.v. that often, but when I do I like to watch CSI, NYPD Blues, comedies, horrors, damn good drama. On ocassion, I have added various folks to my favorites list, to get a feel for when they are online, (as some online stalkers are prone to do), then later remove them if I feel no likely connection. Those who have remained are because I like the person and/or secretly stalking them (?).
Speaking of drama, if you have 'baggage' that is ok with me. I have read numerous profiles of people who refuse to accept someone with baggage, and I find that callous. How can anyone with emotional depth ever find love from someone who only considers surface appearances or has no regard for the whole person? People without 'baggage' have likely never travelled the rich heights of the human spirit nor swam in the deep waters of the soul. It is wonderful to see so many young mothers who place a high regard for their children, such that they are on the top list of priorities - something I respect, but some could word this idea in such a way that any potential partner would not automatically be relegated to the bottom of the list. (?) Any thoughts?
I tend to appreciate decent folks of many shapes, sizes and colours, and cultural heritages. Already I am not happy with how I worded this so I am going to re-do the whole damn thing again! I am attracted to feminine women, so if you find yourself filled with high testosterone, pounding your chest, loud and dominating, then please keep on a truckin'. If you are sweet, charming, decent, considerate of others, then you may very well steal my heart! |

A safe first date could be meeting for a coffee at some well-lit public place. In this way, it could calm the nerves while enhancing the potential for irritability with an overdose of caffeine. Just relax and enjoy the smooth mellow roast of what could be your last ever metaphoric appreciation of Juan Valdez and the many coffee-bean pickers who have come & gone long before our coffee culture.
I would love to visit Scotland & Eire some day, even Wales, but I sense those pleasures to be a long way off.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and I wish everyone luck in finding that special person who is right for them. This also means that if you suck, that you find someone else who equally sucks, or that if you are frigid, that you find someone with a compatible level of frigidity, or at the very least some satiably quantifiable amount of frigiditiousness. (Yes - I enjoy making my own words - tis a simple pleasure.) Remember: "Simple pleasures for simple people!"
