Hi! Looking for someone that wants to explore...fun loving and spontaneous. Someone who is not afraid to say how they feel and live by it. Too many people's actions in this world do not live up to their words.

I have 4 grown kids, and now live alone. One of my passions is coaching youth hockey, it keeps me young. Please be at least young at heart! I don't care about age, but I am youthful and love to laugh and have fun. I have been cured of my ability to have more kids, so if that is for you, I'm not your guy. If you have kids, it's all good! I have alot of respect for single moms and know your challenges.

Exercise and activity are a way of life...riding bicycle, rollerblading...I would try anything new as well. I play hockey but understand it's not much of a couples sport..or is it? So far, not! I can enjoy almost any activity....pool, darts, board games, cards...you name it.

While it is fun to go to Cubs, Hawks, and especially Bears games, I prefer playing to watching. Sports are fun, but good friends are more important. It's nice to hang with a group with a good game in the background. I am at a point in my life where I would rather do something fun than sit glued to a tv set.

Music is an important part of my every-day life. I guess my genre is towards the 60's and 70's jam bands, with an aversion to hip-hop, rap, and most heavy metal. I go see live music often and enjoy the fun of a concert. My favorites include Little Feat, The Allman Brothers, Yes, Steely Dan, Traffic...and many more.

By the way, not my dog. I am a shelter volunteer and I foster from time to time. Dogs and cats are all good with me...I will hit the floor with yours!

Common courtesy is important to me. If you write me I will respond, and I appreciate that in people. Seems pretty simple to me. The only way to get a "spark" from a picture is to light it on fire! I need to meet you, hear your voice, get a sense of your priorities and attitude...to know if I am attracted. I rarely trust pictures.

I am looking for someone honest, loyal, kind, and in or near the city preferably. Someone who wants a best friend and companion, who likes alot of affection and attention. I moved down here near Loyola from the suburbs this spring and left alot behind. I know it is just a matter of time before I start something new, and I look forward to seeing what can come from making new friends. Yes I want an LTR eventually. I think everyone does, whether they admit it or not. For now, it would be nice to meet you and see what happens...don't be shy!

Anywhere we could talk. Outdoor patios are cool for that. So is the lake. You will find that I am endlessly creative when coming up with things to do here...but it's nice to include you as there are a ton of choices! I do reserve the right to surprise once we know each other better!
